Garden classics

  • Yew: taxine, only the red aril flesh is safe
  • Foxglove: soft and downy rosette, purple bells

  • Water hemlock: hollow root, oozes yellow sap
  • False hellebore: alternate pleated leaves (not gentian)

Deceptive berries and flowers
